Christoph Sauser took a bronze medal home to Switzerland from the 2000 Olympics in mountain biking, has won the legendary Cape Epic Stage Race a record five times, and for the past three years has taken second at the Blueprint for Athletes Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race. Last year he finished only 18 seconds in back of the now two-time champion Todd Wells in one of the closest races in history.
