22-year-old Ben Kanute may have finished 20th at the ITU World Championship in his hometown of Chicago in September, but he certainly didn’t go down without a fight. He was aggressive throughout the bike, took the lead during the run, and impressed everyone with his fearless style of racing. A triathlete since the age of eight, his goal is to make the U.S. Olympic team that will race in Rio in 2016.
