Leon Griffin is on a roll. Since the birth of his little boy Harry about six weeks before our chat, the 2006 ITU World Duathlon Champion from Australia has been on fire. He started his season off with a second place to Tim Reed by about 14 seconds at the Asia Pacific 70.3 Championship and followed that up with a win at the Challenge Half in Melbourne, about an hour and half from where he grew up. His story about racing Chris McCormack in Noosa back in 2005, not long after Macca’s breakthrough sixth place finish at the Ironman World Championship, is epic. Next up? Challenge Dubai!
