Ben Hoffman is the Ricky Bobby of triathlon since his mantra is, simply, “I want to go fast.” He has won four full Ironman events in his career and made a huge leap when he went from 15th in 2013 to 2nd in 2014 at the Ironman World Championship. Plus, he has both a bacon and a wine sponsorship, and the young American spent his first year as a pro living in a Suburban and driving across Canada from race to race trying to make a few bucks.
