Look what I found! I just discovered two interviews that I had totally forgotten about. An interview with six-time Ironman World Champion Dave Scott recorded a few hours after the 1996 Ironman World Championship where he came off the bike in 25th place before putting together the second-fastest marathon of the day – 2:45 – and running his way into fifth place. Dave knew that the 1996 race was going to be his last race on the Kona Coast and that was a big part of this conversation.
