Look what I found! I just discovered two interviews that I had totally forgotten about. An interview with Luc Van Lierde recorded a few hours after he shocked the world by winning the 1996 Ironman World Championship and setting a new course record in his first-ever Ironman distance race. He ran 2:41 in his first-ever marathon and became the first European man to win the Ironman World Championship.
