Frederik Van Lierde, the 2013 Ironman World Champion, is about to race one of the greatest fields ever assembled outside of Kona at this weekend’s Ironman Frankfurt. How versatile is the 36 year old Belgian? So far in 2015 he has won Ironman South Africa by 14 minutes while running a 2:49 marathon, taken third place at Ironman 70.3 Barcelona and finished second at the Kraichgau 5150. After taking second in Frankfurt last year in his first appearance there, Frederik is ready to rock and roll.
