She swam for the first three years of college and ran for the next two. As she was about to go to work for the CPA firm Ernst & Young, former top professional triathlete Barb Lindquist asked her if she’d like to learn a little bit about this sport called triathlon. Four years later, Gwen Jorgensen is the 2014 ITU World Champion, the winner of the ITU series, the first person to win five WTS events in history, and possibly the best female triathlete on the planet.
