Hector Picard almost lost his life back in 1994 when 13,000 volts went through his body twice. He fell two stories to the ground, spent four weeks in a coma, had second and third degree burns over 40% of his body, and lost all of his right arm and a major part of his left arm. He eventually found his way to the sport of triathlon, has completed 118 events, and is racing the Ironman World Championship on October 10.
