Helle Frederiksen from Denmark was coming off the biggest win in her career at the 2014 Hy-Vee Triathlon where she took home a first place check of $100,000. The following weekend, 57 kilometers into the Ironman 70.3 World Championship at Mont-Tremblant, she received a drafting penalty, lost four minutes, and eventually dropped out of the race. So how does a champion recover? Helle went to Challenge Bahrain in November of 2014, won that race, and took home another sweet paycheck of $100,000. We call that bouncing back in a big way!
