Jim Knaub was an Olympic Trials pole vaulter before he was paralyzed back in 1978. During his career his won the wheelchair division of the Boston Marathon five times and the Los Angeles Marathon three times. His biggest impact, though, was on the paralyzed kids and adults who he served as a role model for.
