He is a three-time Olympian, Pan American Games Gold Medalist, 1981 Ironman World Champion, and in 1985 he set the land speed record on a bicycle of over 152 miles per hour. John Howard is now coaching 43-year-old Denise Mueller, mother of three, who this September hopes to set a land speed record of her very own.
