Lindsey Kurhajetz from Life Time Fitness came on to fill us in on one of the cooler partnerships around, Life Time Fitness and Ironman. One of their first joint initiatives is coming up on Sunday January 4, 2015 at 77 Life Time Fitness Clubs around the country. The program is called Commit to Tri and the idea is to get new people into the multisport lifestyle. You don’t have to be a member of Life Time Fitness to come join in on the fun, but since the indoor triathlons can only handle 100 or so entries per club, there is an urgency to sign up ASAP. Here’s how it works: You’ll be grouped in waves and start off with a 10 minute swim in a pool followed by 30 minutes of cycling in their cycling studio and then 20 minutes of running or walking on the treadmill. They are calling it Inspirational without Intimidation.
Have you always wanted to try a tri? Are you a long time triathlete who would like to share how cool the sport is with a buddy, or 12? Here is your opportunity. Check out the interview with Lindsey and then sign up at IndoorTri.com!
