We went through Lionel’s race at the Ironman World Championship, and talked about some of the decisions he made, and what he learned for next time. Asked about his journey from dark days to yesterday’s performance: “It took me 8 years of dreaming, failing, and adversity, but you keep working hard. I told myself yesterday: ‘You dreamed it, so go and achieve it.'”
