Matteo Gerevini is one of those event directors who thinks big. When he created a Gran Fondo in San Diego, it was based in Little Italy, Mr. Colnago, the legendary Italian bike builder was there, and there was a Ferrari on hand to lead out the cyclists. His latest event is Challenge Venice on Sunday June 5 and, with gondolas leading out the swimmers for this full Iron Distance event, plus relay teams featuring up to seven members, Matteo is obviously out to create even more fun.
