When Misty Diaz was born back in 1984 with Spina Bifida, her organs were outside of her body, her spine was open, and her parents were told that she would never be able to eat on her own or walk. She suffered through 28 operations growing up. On April 21, 2012, she ran for the very first time in her life, and she hasn’t stopped since, having now completed over 35 Spartan Race events. This is one inspirational young woman who has overcome every obstacle in her way.
