Triathlete Nicola Spirig has raced in four Olympic games and has finished 19^th, 6^th, 1^st, and now 2^nd. She had a sprint finish to win Gold in 2012 in London and this year she and Gwen Jorgensen went head-to-head throughout the bike and the run until Gwen surged away for the Gold. Nicola takes us through her comeback from a broken hand in March, her buildup to the games, and the race itself. This is a lawyer, wife, and mother who knows that she gave it everything she had on race day and is happy with the effort. As she says in the conversation, she didn’t lose the Gold, she won the Silver!
