Ned Overend Q&A at the Tri Club of San Diego
How many athletes do you know who are versatile enough to run a 2:28 marathon, finish 24th at the Ironman World Championship, take second place at the Pikes’ Peak Marathon twice and win two XTERRA Off Road Triathlon World Championships? Pretty unique skill set, right? Now add in the fact that Ned Overend’s main sport for the past 30+ years has been mountain biking since he won the first ever UCI Mountain Bike World Championship and has been inducted into both the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame.
