Des Linden: Women’s Marathon

Filmed on location at the Boston Marathon Expo, Olympian Des Linden and her agent Josh Cox joined us for a chat a few days before the marathon. We chatted with Des about her races here at Boston and what it feels like to be headed back to the Olympics for the second time.

 

 

Meb Keflezighi: Men’s Marathon

Meb joined the Tri Club of San Diego on his birthday for a wide-ranging Q&A. He takes us through his amazing journey – from growing up without running water in Eritrea to living on welfare in the U.S. to winning an Olympic Silver Medal in 2004 in Athens. His huge win at the New York City Marathon in 2009 came after a hip injury almost forced him to retire, and his win in Boston in 2014 is simply the most important victory for an American runner in our history. Meb is the epitome of the American dream, someone who came here at the age of 12 unable to speak the language and ended up dining with President Obama.

 

Gwen Jorgensen: Women’s Triathlon

Filmed on location at the ITU Grand Final in Chicago, September 2015: Gwen Jorgensen is currently the number one ranked triathlete in the world and 2015 has been an epic year for her. But not long ago she was a young CPA just starting her career as an accountant at Ernst and Young and her athletic career appeared to be in the rear view mirror. That’s when former top professional triathlete Barb Lindquist entered her world and her life has never been the same.
