England’s Alistair Brownlee is amazing. Along with his brother Jonny, in the 53 ITU races where a Brownlee was on the starting line, either Alistair or Jonny won an astounding 35 times. Alistair takes us through his career from getting into the sport at the age of 8 to his Junior World Championship, to his two Olympic gold medals, to the creation of the Brownlee Foundation, and to the challenges that come along with going from the Olympic, draft legal format to the non-drafting Ironman 70.3 distance. Coming off his season-opening win at Ironman 70.3 Dubai, if he can follow that up with an Ironman 70.3 World Championship, and a win at Ironman 70.3 Bahrain, he will add the Triple Crown million dollar payday to his already spectacular resume.
