Laurence Cohen is one of the best public and media relations professionals in the bizzzz. He’s the behind-the-scenes guy who, while he was at the LA Marathon, pushed to personalize bib numbers and helped to create great media around ‘The Challenge’ where the female runners were given a head start over the male pros with the overall winner of the race winning significantly more money. It was while he was in charge of the PR around what used to be the Las Vegas Marathon where he created the infamous Run through Wedding Chapel and put a major emphasis on getting people from all over the world to come to Vegas and run as Elvis. He is one of the most creative minds in the industry and he has now aligned himself with an event series that can be found at everywon.org and the goal is to grow the amount of participants in their half marathon and 5K events who are actually raising money for the 21 designated charities.
